Care Team Training

A Care Team is a small group of trained volunteers from your church who provide consistent, intentional, relational support to foster families, adoptive families, or vulnerable families.

Through ordinary acts of care—meals, childcare, transportation, encouragement, and more—Care Teams can help prevent caregiver burnout, promote family stability, and reflect the love of Christ in practical ways.

During this 90-minute training, you will:

  • Learn what Care Teams are and why they are so effective

  • Understand the structure and roles within a Care Team

  • Help you to develop as a Care Team Leader (or identify a Leader in your church)

After the training

If your church chooses to move forward, Project Belong will continue walking alongside you with guidance, resources, and next steps for launching your Care Team ministry.
