Form a Ministry.
We can work with you to establish a ministry at your church that supports vulnerable children and families. We call these Family Advocacy Ministries (or FAMS)! We can share ideas, materials and tools to help the FAM Team organize, plan and activate. Then, we’ll walk with you as your implement your FAM.
-
Support Families.
A Care Community is a team of 4-6 people who provide practical wrap-around support that families need when caring for vulnerable children. 50% of families who foster actually quit within the first year. However, 90% continue past the first year if they have a Care Community.
-
Support Social Workers.
Child Welfare Workers are on the front lines of seeking permanency and safety for vulnerable families, children, and communities. Burnout and turnover has negative impacts on children in care. We can connect you with social workers in your area and help you encourage them.
-
Become a Mentor.
Imagine being 18 and alone in this world because you’ve aged out of foster care or are otherwise without family. A meaningful connection to just one caring, stable adult could make all the difference. The Don’t Go Alone program connects young adults to families or mentors.
-
Consider Foster Care or Adoption.
Are you interested in providing a temporary place of safety and love for a child while their parents learn how to care for them? Or perhaps you've thought about giving a child a forever home through adoption. We’re happy to walk with you and connect you to support and resources.

Join the Prayer Team.
Without prayer, our efforts are futile. Our desired outcome for vulnerable children and families requires things that go way beyond what we could ever orchestrate ourselves. Join with our Prayer Team to receive monthly emails that outline specific groups of people and needs to pray for.
