What should I expect?

A weekend just for you! Surrounded by the beauty of the Allegheny mountains at Christmas time. Abide is a small intimate retreat just for adoptive + kinship + and foster mamas. We want you to be refreshed, encouraged, and find community with other moms on this journey. There will be encouragement sessions from moms just like you, time for worship, and fun and relaxing activities such as: watercolor painting, pilates, taking a nap, hanging out, hiking, sitting by the fire, etc.

What is the cost?

The registration cost of $225 includes a two-night stay, all of your meals, complimentary coffee/tea, and snacks. We will be staying in the Heritage House this year up on the hill. There will be two moms in each room, so if you’d like to room with a friend, please email rachel@projectbelongva.org with your request.

What do I do if I cannot make it?

We hope that everyone can attend! But in the case of an emergency cancellation we will provide a full refund, if there is a non emergency cancellation no less than two weeks prior to the retreat we ask that you find someone to take your spot at the retreat.

Where is the retreat located this year?

White Sulfur Springs Retreat Center is nestled in a cove in the forested mountains of central Pennsylvania and a bit off the beaten path, the pace around here is slow, making the outdoors a tranquil place for reflection or down time. It is two hours from Winchester, VA, two hours and forty five minutes from Fairfax, and three and a half hours from Fredericksburg.
